Thank You Joseph Heller for Writing "Catch 22"

It is one of those books I am seriously glad to have read when younger.  The more years that go by, the more appreciation for the book and it's message.  It really helps to see the absurdity right off the bat and be able to enjoy the actual silliness all along, rather than suffer all the negative emotions from running in circles or hitting brick walls.

A good laugh is so much better than the grinding of teeth or clenching of neck muscles.  I firmly believe that reading Catch 22 helped me develop a sense of humor that acts as a cushion when dealing with any type of authority.  It also helps keep me grinning cheerfully while filling in all the slots correctly, no matter how redundant or unnecessary.

Is it governmental? Is it bureaucratic?  If the answer is yes, open that door and enter with the mind set of Alice walking thru the looking glass or of someone able to step into an Escher architectural drawing and make their way around.
